Arian Katsimbras was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, where he attended the University of Nevada-Reno. He has been the recipient of the DQ Poetry Award and the Emily Morrison Prize in Poetry selected by Jamaal May. His poems have recently appeared or are forthcoming in Muzzle Magazine, Vinyl Poetry, Waxwing Literary Journal, and Tahoma Literary Review. Arian lives in Blacksburg, Virginia, and is an MFA candidate at Virginia Tech.
