John Macker has lived in Northern New Mexico for 29 years. He’s published several books of poetry & prose including Atlas of Wolves, Belated Mornings & Desert Threnody, (a New Mexico/Arizona Book Award recipient.) His play Black Range was produced in 2023 by Teatro Paraguas in Santa Fe. He’s currently on the board of the Frank Waters Foundation and was a long-time contributor to Albuquerque’s Malpais Review.
