Leslie Ullman

Leslie Ullman is the author of three previous poetry collections and winner of the Yale Series of Younger Poets Award and the Iowa Poetry Prize. Her most recent collection, Progress on the Subject of Immensity, is published by University of New Mexico Press. A former creative writing professor at University of Texas-El Paso, she now lives in Taos and teaches in the low-residency MFA program at Vermont College of the Fine Arts. She also works as a ski instructor at Taos Ski Valley. Her poems, reviews, and essays have appeared in numerous magazines, and her most recent essay, “A Spiral Walk Around the Golden Mean,” will appear in the October issue of The Writer’s Chronicle.
