Michelle Menting is the author of Leaves Surface Like Skin (Terrapin Books, 2017), and two poetry chapbooks. She is the recipient of awards from Sewanee Writers’ Conference, Bread Loaf-Orion Writers’ Conference, the National Park Service Artist-in-Residence program, and her poems, essays, and short fiction have appeared in a variety of journals and magazines. An avid trail runner and lake swimmer, she currently lives in Maine.
