Raffi Sarkissian was born and lives in Toronto, Canada and is currently the principal of the A.R.S. Armenian Private School. He has conducted research in genocide education and is the founder of the Sara Corning Centre for Genocide Education. He has held leadership positions in various Canadian-Armenian organizations over the last 20 years and co-authored a collection of Armenian poems titled The Reflecting Crane and has contributed a chapter in Understanding Atrocities: Remembering, Representing and Teaching Genocide.
