Thomas Tsalapatis was born in Athens. He studied in the Faculty of Theatre Studies at Athens University. In 2007, he wrote and co-directed the play “All the Clocks in the City”. Since 2008, he has been writing articles for the newspaper Epochi and other publications and web magazines, as well as performing as a Stand-up comedian. In 2011, the book W.B Yeats (which he translated in collaboration with the poet Michalis Papantonopoulos) was released by Ekati Publishers. In the same year, the same publishers released his first poetry collection, Dawn is Slaughter Mister Krak, for which he was awarded the State Award for Best Literary Artist Debut 2012. Some of his poems have been translated in Spanish and Russian.
