Victoria Cárdenas (1992). Born and raised beneath the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, she is an 8th generation Taoseña, claiming heritage from Puerto Rico and Northern New Mexico.  Tori graduated from Taos High School , and then summa cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a dual Bachelor’s of Arts in History and English, with a concentration in Poetry. Her poetry’s inspired by folklore and mythology.  Currently, Tori lives and works in Albuquerque.
